Baby Baniya|Dilbaram Necklace
Product Code: BBAUG17NL13
Availability: In Stock
This neckpiece features a hand-colored photograph of ‘miko’ or Japanese shrine maidens, taken by
photographer Kusakabe Kimbei, circa. 1880-90. The other image is a Mughal miniature painting of lotus
flowers. These images are incased in resin, and accompanied by a large Kutchh tribal bead and
multicolored fabric strings. Indian and Japanese elements work together beautifully, to create this
modern, yet traditional piece.
(Note: these are digital prints, not the original)
