Baby Baniya|Kamelan Necklace
Product Code: BBAUG17NL09
Availability: Out Of Stock
This opulent piece features a portrait of Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir – a Mughal miniature painting
made in Central India in the 18 th century. This fierce image is balanced by a photograph of delicate
flowers, by photographer Kazumasa Ogawa, from his book ‘Some Japanese Flowers’ in 1896. These resin
pieces are accompanied by Kutchh tribal elements and brick red fabric strings. Indian and Japanese
elements work together beautifully, to create this modern piece that is steeped in history.
